SUNDAY AUGUST 1ST 2004.

BC Day Tournament was another Fun Day at the Club.....enjoyed by about 40 playing members and guests.  Jack Withenshaw did a great job organizing the round robin using his new formula which avoids a lot of time waiting.  Our winners this year were
Mens... Don Quistberg, runner up Tom (friend of Eileen's), and Ladies...Eileen Vetter, runner up Shirley Withenshaw.....good job!!!

 

OUR SOCIAL CONVENOR TRACEY DANIEL TREATED US TO ANOTHER SUPERB BRUNCH WITH LOTS OF FRUIT, MUFFINS ETC. TO SATISFY YOUR TASTEBUD, FOLLOWING UP WITH FRENCH CRUISSANT SANDWISHES
AND A GREAT SALAD LUNCH.
The kitchen crew were busy as usual.   There is never a shortage of volunteers to help with the preparation and clean up which makes my job a pleasure.....thanks to everyone who pitched in and helped.  Members and guests enjoyed hot coffee, fresh muffins and fruit for breakfast and an assortment of salads and sandwiches for lunch with fruit pies for dessert...yummy!!  It was really appreciated on the hot summer day!
