What a great turn out we had to start off year 2005! Over 50 members came out to toast their fellow tennis buddies and many enjoyed a few sets on the courts. The weather was cool and sunny with dry courts – all three were continually full with the wait-list board also full. This on a cool January day!!! Inside the clubhouse we enjoyed hot mulled wine, special coffees and delicious nibblies and got to chat with many of our tennis friends.

After decorating the club the night before, Helge was busy clicking away with his camera – just can't keep this guy down for long…thanks Helge! Many hands in the kitchen made things run very smoothly – thanks everyone, especially Betty Bishop who volunteered to help with the socials and Derek & Karl who made clean up a breeze.

We have a very active tennis membership, both long-timers as well as a keen group of new members. We toasted 2005 to bring us good tennis, good health and good friendships at our club. What a great way to kick of 2005!
