We wish to share that long-time member Doug Smith passed away on April 4. He passed peacefully with MAID, with his family and a good friend by his side.

Doug joined the club in 1988 and served as a former President of the White Rock Tennis Club. Even after he stopped playing, he remained a familiar and welcoming presence, often dropping by to socialize and share a coffee with fellow members.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by our tennis community.
