Over the winter our club lost one of its long-time members and an enthusiastic volunteer.
Joseph Incantalupo, sometimes known as New York Joe, did an enormous amount of volunteering over his life. He ran the Beach League for many years and was responsible for Zone 3 of the senior games (tennis). He put a lot of work into it and was always eager to help. Joseph was also a member at Sunshine Hills.
He won tournament titles for his age category in Vancouver and at one time was a marksman on Team Canada while employed as an engineer. Joseph loved Karaoke, had a nice voice and sang Sinatra songs. He died with his beloved wife Gabrielle Gaby and family by his side including son Michael, daughter Lisa, daughter-in-law Elke and son-in-law Garo. He is missed by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Joseph lived life to the fullest and one could say he embraced the lyrics I Did it My Way.
